about the 2018 ESJ Educating for Change Conference


I forgot to register. Is it too late?
Nope! The $35 online pre-registration fee that includes lunch is now closed. However, you can register at the door for $45, but lunch is not included. You may bring your own lunch though! We hope to see you there!

What should I bring to the conference?
* Have your PayPal receipt accessible (on your phone or on paper) in case there is a problem at registration.
* Water bottle
* Nut-free snacks. (Your registration fee includes coffee, lunch, and a light afternoon snack. In efforts to put more money go toward this upcoming year's professional development and teacher grants, we will not be serving breakfast food. But feel free to bring nut-free snacks!) 

What does lunch include?
*Hamburger/veggie burger bar

*Spa water

What can I expect to see at the Silent Auction?

Where can I park for the conference?
Please park in Wydown Middle School's parking garage under the soccer field off of Dartford Avenue. Space is limited so street parking is also available on both sides of Wydown. You may also park in Wash U's First Congregational Church/Preschool parking lot across the street from Wydown. We are also a Metro Link Bus stop and not too far from the Big Bend Metrolink stop.

Is there somewhere to pump or breastfeed through the day?
Yes! Please ask a Clayton staff member or ESJ member where you can find the PTO room or an administrator office.

Can I receive documentation that I attended the conference?
Yes! We will have Certificates of Attendance at the main registration desk signed by the ESJ President.

Will there be an after-party?
Yes! Continue to connect and network at The Post in Maplewood (7372 Manchester Rd.) after the conference! The Post is giving ESJ conference folks specials ($3 wells, $5 Post-Its, and $2.50 bottles) on drinks. Bring "The Post flyer" which will be handed out at the Registration Table for specials!

How should I dress?
Dress in layers! The A/C system at Wydown has been having some issues. It will likely be warm. We will have a designated area for coats and umbrellas since the forecast shows rain!
